Kevin Cheng is the legal assistant at Smith, Shellenberger & Salazar, LLC, where he assists the attorneys in case management, oversees administrative tasks, and performs basic office management.
Kevin graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Colorado Denver with a major in English Writing and a minor in Philosophy. Kevin has had internships with a number of eclectic organizations. As an editor at Asian Avenue Magazine, he interviewed and wrote about local persons or events of interest. At the National Civic League, he interviewed various politicians and community leaders for the All-America City Awards publication. At Metro Volunteer Lawyers, he gained insight into the plight of low income families and their need for legal aid. At the Jefferson County Courts, he gained a greater understanding of the legal system and the behind the scene activities of the court system.
Being from Vietnam and having grown up in the multicultural city of New York, Kevin has a great respect towards all peoples and cultures. At Smith, Shellenberger & Salazar, LLC, he does his best to utilize his skills to assist clients and provide them with needed information, assuring that they are content with the firm’s legal service.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and is an avid foodie.
